Saarathi

Education Reform

Saarathi, meaning guide or companion in Nepali, is IRD’s flagship mentorship initiative designed to walk alongside ambitious Nepali high school graduates and college applicants on their journey to higher education. Through personalized support, expert guidance, and a values-driven community, we empower students to unlock global opportunities and reach their fullest potential while developing their leadership acumen and strengthening their ethical integrity.

Program Vision

To cultivate a generation of Nepali youths who are informed, confident, and globally competitive—equipped not just with strong college applications, but also with a sense of purpose, curiosity, and civic responsibility.

The one year long program not only guides them in navigating their college application process but also empowers them to become empathetic and visionary leaders through a holistic fellowship component.
